Return & Refund Policy

At Party Sides, every order is freshly prepared specifically for your event. Because our food is custom made to order, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds once your order has been prepared.

We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to review this policy before placing your order.


Cancellations

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your order, please notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled pick up or delivery date to receive a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your scheduled pick up or delivery date cannot be refunded, as your order will have already been prepared.

Non-Returnable Items

All Party Sides orders are perishable, custom-prepared food items. In accordance with California law and food safety regulations, we are unable to accept returns on any food products once they have been picked up or delivered to you.

This applies to all items including but not limited to:

  • All catering side dishes
  • All tray sizes (Half Tray and Full Tray)
  • Any special or custom orders

Damages & Order Issues

Your satisfaction matters to us. If there is an issue with your order — including incorrect items, missing items, or a concern about food quality — please contact us immediately upon pick up or delivery so we can evaluate the situation and make it right.

We ask that all order concerns be reported within 2 hours of pick up or delivery.

Refunds

Refunds are only issued under the following circumstances:

  • Order cancelled 48 hours or more before the scheduled pickup date
  • A verified error on our part (incorrect order, missing items)

If a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Please note that your bank or payment provider may require additional processing time.


California Consumer Rights

In compliance with the California Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA) and applicable California food service regulations, Party Sides operates in full accordance with state law regarding perishable and custom food products. As permitted under California law, perishable custom food orders are exempt from standard return and refund requirements.
